Apple is working on iPad Pro with a new type of antenna for 2020
The well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has announced via UDN that Apple is working on a new iPad Pro that is due to appear in 2020.The tablet would make few improvements on the outside, but internally.
One of these is the addition of a so-called “LCP Soft Board”, a technology that adjusts and improves the wireless connectivity of the iPad Pro.Such an LCP Soft Board would ensure that the antenna is connected to the motherboard, reducing signal loss and improving network quality.
5GThe addition of the LCP Soft Board to the 2020 iPad Pro would also have to do with the future support for 5G. With the new antenna technology, Apple would like to prepare for the use of 5G modems in the iPad Pro. According to Kuo, the company of Tim Cook will in 2021 actually come with the first tablets with 5G support.
Unfortunately, little is known about next year’s iPad Pro. Probably no new Pro will be released this year, which may also have to do with the fact that there is now a substantial line-up of iPads that you can buy in 2019. Furthermore, we are especially looking forward to the improvements of iOS 13 for the iPad, because according to rumors, this update will be the next big step for the tablet.
